Ops on paper.
Product in practice.
I run operations for an edtech platform that serves K‑12 after-school programs. I spend my days in SQL, compliance files, and product specs. I QA feature releases, write test plans, review mockups, craft prototypes, and build the reports districts need to stay compliant with California attendance rules. I also build things—an AI hiring pipeline now running in production and data tools that ship the same day. I like problems where the obvious answer turns out to be wrong.

Off the clock
Bikes, brushes, guitar, fundraising
I ride my bike. I pick my Larrivée. I paint landscapes in watercolor—mostly badly, and happily, because watercolor punishes hesitation. And since 2024, I have run the digital side of Earth & Vine, my daughter's school fundraiser—the silent auction, the ticketing, and registration at the door on the night. It turns out to be operations work with better wine.
